In an interview with the ” Madan Nameh ” news website , Amir Tavakoli Rudy said about the performance of Mobarakeh Steel Company in the past year: “As a successful group in the field of steel supply chain, Mobarakeh Steel has tried to fulfill its mission well, considering the global and domestic conditions.”
Referring to the problems caused by energy imbalance for the Mobarakeh Steel Complex, he said: “Our country’s steel complexes have suffered greatly from energy imbalance, and the loss of profit related to this problem amounts to several hundred thousand hemat. One of the valuable actions of Mobarakeh Steel in recent years has been to help reduce imbalances by establishing power plants and supplying its 600 megawatts of electricity through these power plants. The company has also participated in the project to transfer water from the sea to the central plateau of Iran, and currently, part of this water has reached the Mobarakeh Steel Complex.”
The member of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission continued: “Given the current conditions, in the near future we will also witness an imbalance in the supply of raw materials and feedstock for the steel industry. In this regard, Mobarakeh Steel has made predictions to resolve this problem, and the company’s mining deputy complex has started good measures in the field of exploration, which we can also consider as one of the positive points of Mobarakeh Steel’s performance in recent times.”
Tavakoli Rudy also explained about Mobarakeh Steel Company’s activities in the field of green steel: “The general view in the world is to reduce the use of fossil fuels in steel production and replace it with green steel. Mobarakeh Steel Company has also taken good steps in this direction and has achieved some achievements in this regard.”
The representative of the people of Khaf and Rashtkhar in the parliament emphasized the importance and necessity of localization, self-reliance, and innovation in the steel industries and added: “During our visit to the last steel industry exhibition, we learned about the achievements of Mobarakeh Steel Company in the field of localization of technologies, and it must be acknowledged that Mobarakeh Steel has performed well in the field of localization, redesign, and engineering of transformation, completion, and component manufacturing industries, and in creating new capacities in this field.”
Tavakoli Rudy concluded by noting: “One of the requirements of our country’s industries today, especially the steel industries, is trust in human resource capacity based on rationality, collective wisdom, innovation, and creativity, and Mobarakeh Steel’s track record in creating self-confidence and trust in domestic human resources has also been clear.”
