Saba Folad overcomes crisis; record production, sales, and exports in spring 1405

According to the ” Madan Nameh ” news website,  the performance of Saba Gulf Steel in the first quarter of 1405 shows that the company, in one of the most difficult periods of activity in the mining and steel industries, has been able to achieve significant results simultaneously on three fronts: production, sales, and exports; an issue whose importance from an operational perspective goes beyond financial figures.

According to published statistics, the company’s production reached 444,341 tons at the end of the first quarter of this year, and sales were recorded at 422,429 tons. During the same period, sales volume grew by 131 percent compared to the same period last year; a growth that indicates an increase in supply capacity and strengthening the company’s presence in the market.

One of the most important strengths of Saba Gulf Steel’s performance is its strong return to export markets. The company exported 210,692 tons in the first quarter of this year, while it had no export sales in the same period of 1404. In other words, nearly half of the company’s quarterly sales came from exports; an achievement that is of particular operational importance given the financial transfer restrictions, logistical challenges, trade pressures, and the high-risk environment caused by the war.

️The impact of this development on the company’s revenues is also quite evident. Saba Gulf Steel’s sales revenue reached 110,631 billion rials at the end of the first quarter of 1405; a figure that represents a 277.6 percent growth compared to 29,292 billion rials in the same period last year. Such growth is not only the result of increased sales volume, but also reflects an improvement in the mix of target markets and the prominent role of exports in the company’s revenue portfolio.
