Supplying equipment and parts for Mobarakeh Steel reconstruction projects by holding tenders in various and numerous areas/ Transactions Commission, the procurement arm for reconstruction and renovation projects

Sayed Wahid Medina, a member of the steering committee of the project to rebuild and renovate the affected areas and the director of the Mobarakeh Steel Trading Commission, in an interview with the ” Madannameh ” reporter, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the employees of the steelmaking area and all support and headquarters units of Mobarakeh Steel, and announced the relaunch of production lines in the shortest possible time.

Referring to the measures taken after the cowardly attacks, he said: “After the establishment of the committee for the reconstruction and renovation of the damaged units, the meetings of this committee were held continuously and intensively every day. In the first step, the damage assessment working group was formed and the implementation processes for the reconstruction of the production areas were developed. Also, the projects required for the reconstruction and renovation of the damaged units were defined and a schedule of activities was prepared with the aim of a quick return to the production circuit.”

Medina emphasized: The Mobarakeh Steel Transactions Commission played an important role in the timely provision of equipment, parts, and services required for these projects, in order to utilize the capacities of capable and specialized companies and create a fully competitive, transparent environment within the framework of the transaction regulations by holding tenders in various specialized fields and accelerating the procurement processes.

A member of the steering committee of the project to reconstruct and renovate the damaged areas of Mobarakeh Steel stated: “The result of these measures was the restart of furnace number 8 on June 30; an achievement that was achieved in only 45 days and put the performance of the executive teams beyond the anticipated schedule. This success is a symbol of empathy, careful planning, and the round-the-clock efforts of specialists and employees in the path of reconstruction and restoration of production capacities.”

He added: “Our colleagues at Mobarakeh Steel, with zeal and determination, and with the effort and coordination of a cohesive and team work, were able to complete the launch process in the shortest possible time. I would like to thank all the employees who played a role in this path, and these efforts resulted in the enemies being thwarted and the production process and activities quickly returning to normal.”
